I recently moved to Alaska. But before I did I purchased a small game license for the 2013-2014 season. I have lived in AK for 2 months and I got an Alaska drivers license. My question is: Is the license I purchased still valid? Can I hunt when I come in for Christmas?
I searched other threads, but could not find the answer to my exact scenario. I may be spending several months in Alaska. I cannot take a handgun through Canada, so I must mail it. Can I have my folks mail it to me once I am there, or do I have to have it sent to someone with a FFL? And if I...
I am planning on making a 10mm my next gun purchase. I can't spend an awful lot right now, so I want something $600 or less. I was thinking of the Tanfoglio Witness? I read elsewhere on this site that the compact version has problems with the frame cracking...not good.

On another thread there was mention of Grandma's getting guns. Here are a couple pictures of my Grandma in PA. She is in her 80s and has been shooting squirrels and other critters for many a year--mostly from her back steps. The neighbors tell her to stop killing the wildlife and Grandma just...
I am driving to Montana in a couple of weeks with my kiddo and will be stopping to camp in the Badlands in South Dakota. I always carry my firearm when I camp here in Indiana and would feel kind of nervous being without it if I choose to leave it behind on my trip. The reason I am considering...
I have been trying to find a mother/son hunting decal. I think it is pretty much impossible unless I somehow create my own. At the least, I would like to get a woman hunter decal and a youth hunter decal that I can put together. I've been able to find a few woman hunter silhouette decals but...
My sister is looking into getting a gun for her personal protection. She would prefer a revolver but is still open to other options. She is comfortable shooting a 357 but thats about as big a bang as she's willing to go. Here's the thing--she wants it to be pretty (go figure.) Not pink...
...from the center of the state. It's hard sometimes to find like-minded people in the city; so this site is like taking a drive into the country where folks are friendly and we all "get it." Glad to be here.
