      9 mm Mud brass

Might I suggest that you smash the brass so that it doesn't end up in some unsuspecting soul's hands down the road as well? The reloaders of the world will thank you. GarandTeed

Where can I find a 4lb jug of Green Dot?

You might try Back Forty in Bourbon, IN. It's a bit of a drive but if you need it... Anyway, if you want to check them out call Ryan Meister at (574)305-1969 and tell him Stacey Weston referred you. He generally has really good prices and I believe I have seen Green Dot there on a regular basis.

Now, if we could get them to release some powder :ugh:

      WTB: 9mm brass

I've probably got at least 5000 I'd be willing to let go. How much have you been paying for them? I haven't priced 9mm lately. I'm just up the road in Mishawaka.

New Dillon 650 powder measure setup?

I cut 1/4 of a turn off the spring at a time. I can't remember for sure but I think I ended up taking off 1-1/4 turns total. It's not 100% perfect but after loading 1000 .40 S&W, I probably don't have much more than a grain of powder lost around the shell plate.

XDS - light primer strike issue endemic? or just bad reloads?

If you believe the reloads were the problem, are you going to do anything to help the LGS solve their problem?

      Tumbling media Question.

Fine ground corn cob from Grainger and Nu-Finish. When it starts to look dirty or leave dust on your cases, take it outside and winnow in a slight breeze to blow away the most of the impurities. Works great and lasts a long time.

      9mm powder measuring problems

These are some of the issues that made me pull the trigger on buying my XL650 and switching to ball powder like Accurate Arms No. 5. Since. Then, I weigh about every 25 rounds and have never seen anything worse than +/- 0.1 grains

      1st Reloading Kit.. Suggestions?

Absolutely, many people with progressive presses like to do certain operations separate from the rest. Some people like to decap and resize their brass, then clean again before trimming or removing primer crimps on military case. Also, some folks like to use an electric trimmer like the...

      School me on shotguns...

Have to agree with Adam. Go with the 12 gauge 00 Buckshot for home defense, you'll get used to the recoil when you take it to the range and practice. There are enough of these guns around that I'm sure someone on this site would let you try theirs out, including me if you are anywhere near South...

Bad Day at the Range - Help needed

I'm not sure I would be satisfied with this feedback from Rock River. I don't see how you can run a couple hundred rounds through, then develop a defect in the chamber itself and then be able to alleviate the problem with more machining. If someone sees how this whole puzzle goes together...
