I would drink the Kool-Aid then wait for President Obama to save me.

"Well-regulated" Democracy & The Second Amendment

Because he died in 1790. I don't think he would have ever sought the office anyway. It wasn't his style.

School to 12y/o: change what God gave you or face expulsion

Ah ok, I'll go back and read the last 4 years of your posts then. That makes much more sense than you just being clear about it to begin with.

School to 12y/o: change what God gave you or face expulsion

You should make clearer points then. It appears you have a problem with this. At least that's what I gather from your original post. Which in turn would seem to indicate you have a problem with private business setting their own rules. Am I missing something?

School to 12y/o: change what God gave you or face expulsion

So, is it a problem for a private business to set their own rules?

      1911 Magwell

Personally, I'd get a matching mainspring/magwell. You don't necessarily have to, but I would. Wilson sells them as matched sets. In fact, they have a one-piece mainspring/magwell as well. I'm looking at adding that to one of my Kimbers.

US Flys B-52s Into China's Expanded Air Defense Zone

True, they did. But the gist of the question is why did they, or we, care? I suppose the argument would be that Germany needed to be contained etc., and maybe the UK had an interest in that, hence the treaty. The funny thing is though, the UK-Polish treaty was a guarantee of the territorial...

US Flys B-52s Into China's Expanded Air Defense Zone

I know you were being facetious, but in all seriousness, why did anyone care if Germany took over Poland? Also, it's usually overlooked, but Germany split Poland with the USSR. The USSR invaded Poland as well. Both "Empires" were just reclaiming territory they had occupied since the 18th...

From personal experience, the 1911 ultra tool is 100x easier to use than a standard bushing wrench.

Full size Glock vs Full size 1911

I've owned both. The Glock 21 is like trying to shoot a .45 bullet while holding a 2x4. Seriously, the ergonomics of a Glock 21 are in violation of at least 4 OSHA regulations. The 1911 however, is like shooting poetry. Sure, there's a capacity difference to consider. I can shoot 8 rounds...

Absolutely true. I'm astonished that far too many people don't understand this.

Things You Don't say to Your Wife

Me: Let me help you with the laundry. Her: Don't put those in there, the dryer makes my jeans tight. Me: I'm pretty sure it's the refrigerator that does that.

Group of 4 become first women to complete Marine Corps infantry combat training

Military standards being that female requirements are lower than male requirements. That has always been the norm in all branches of the military. If they require the same standards in infantry training, then yes, that's a departure from previous military norms. Assuming that they are...

Group of 4 become first women to complete Marine Corps infantry combat training

That doesn't answer the question though. Maybe females have to do 5 pullups and males have to do 15.

Group of 4 become first women to complete Marine Corps infantry combat training

Right. So are they saying without reservation that the female candidates who graduated the Infantry course, met the same standards as the men did to qualify for entrance, then met the same standards as the men did once they were in the course. If they're saying that, then I'm prepared to eat...
