      Glock 42 revealed

When they come out with the model in a 9 I will be in line. I love my glocks but still often carry a PM45 just for comfort due to how thin it is even compared to my 26. Not really interested in a .380 but excited to glock grow further into the thin single stack market.

      South Bend, IN

Remember there is a difference between a law and an ordinance. Infraction of an ordinance is not criminal. However neglecting to pay a fine associated with an infraction of an ordinance is.

3 year old shot in head in Indy

It's unfortunate how far off topic this thread got from the initial post. Any tragic event involving children brings a special kind of stress for emergency personnel. Most calls involving a firearm first require PD to clear the scene, then EMS and Fire crews can rush in and then it moves to the...

      Need muzzleloader advice...errr EVERYTHING advice

Be patient. Find a way to get comfortable. Make sure you remove sticks ans misc. around you if on the ground so when you move into position to shoot you make as little noise as possible. And I find some sort of scent block spray more important than wearing camo. Quiter clothing is better. Good luck.

72 Years ago - Never forget.

Sad that I'm hearing more about obomacare on the news today and hardly a thing about the memory of Pearl Harbor. You would think the google homepage would have been dedicated to it today but nope.

Why do cops get free stuff?

Many seem jealous of these freebies or time spent at the station but when their emergency presents they are only thinking about themselves. Public service as a policeman, fireman, or even in EMS presents many hardships that unless you work in that field it is very hard to comprehend. Many times...

      XDs after recall?

Thank you everyone for the response. I definitely feel comfortable purchasing one. Does anyone have any thoughts on how the trigger feels in comparison to a Glock? My dealer had told me if I like the glock trigger I would be happy with the XDs.

      XDs after recall?

I am seeing a lot of the XDs for sale after people received them back from Springfield. I have considered the 45 and was curios why so many are getting them back and selling? Any thought? Anyone happy with what they have? I enjoy shooting glocks and my local dealer told me I would like the...

      Why Glock?

My first glock was a model 30 and will always be my favorite however I carry a 26 often just for the smaller size. Many years ago when I was looking to purchase my first pistol I was given the best advise possible, shoot everything you can get your hands on and see what you like. Fortunately my...

      Guns in church.

Is there anyplace to look for specific info on getting permission to carry in churches with schools. I would love to be able to present that info at my own congregation. I had never heard that prior to reading this thread.

      44 Magnum Factory Deer Round??

Not sure if you found an ammo you are happy with but I just switched to hunting with a 44 mag rifle this year (CVA Hunter) and I have been using the Corbon Hunter rounds in 180 and 240 grain and have been happy with both. Two nice clean kills with 180 this fall with one shot right at 100 yards.

      Greetings to all

Hello, This my first day on the forum. I live in Elkhart county and was on duty today. When I stopped in at the ER a nurse buddy of mine told me about the forum. I found my afternoon passing quickly at the station as I spent it reading through many threads. This is a great site. I have already...
