I wonder if you could get a nice holster with something like that engraved. The leather holsters for revolvers can be customized with so much detail. I mean it is going to be a birthday present! Then, you wouldn't have to worry about damaging a grip or it being too slippery.
Truly I don't have an issue with wifey. I was just razzin' you. I only use hubby on the internet - and on forums - which I haven't actually used in a long while (forums that is).
Do they make different grips for the 42 yet? I personally like thin grips, but it's all preference you know...
Thanks for the input. I guess I'm trying hard to like glocks because it's all he shoots and feels comfortable with. I was trying to prove to myself that it's not because I'm razzing him about being a glock fanboy. Again, it could be that it's the last gun I picked up at the range and was getting...
That's true. ;) I was thinking about a high school friend of mine referring to his wife as wifey just recently - at first I thought the op might be him - but his wife got a different handgun.
I wouldn't mind, but I tend to forget what I paid for stuff and make up wild numbers. ;)
She has a website that lists the costs - this one is one of the top $ ones since it has the imprints, the double thread, and then conchos - but you can get more basic ones. Here's her website...
Wifey? She's ok with you calling her that? ;)
So she had a problem with the g42 due to thin grips? Or was she trying too hard? My husband shoots glocks, but I haven't found love for them yet. So, when I do practice with them I tend to try to hard so that I can like them. I always feel...
I just received a custom leather holster order from Soteria Leather. We ordered a owb holster for a jframe, a ruger sr40, and an iwb holster for the sig p238. She does beautiful quality work. I'm attaching a pic of my jframe holster that she did for me. If anyone is interested in seeing the...
Marketing is everything, but it doesn't sound like they would actually be able to carry it anywhere since it is banned in most places in India. The sad part of the article is where they said that most likely if the victim were to have had a gun she would have been charged with murder and would...
There is a lot of truth written here.
As for a college education, I know several welfare recipients who get college degrees, but then never get a job or become productive. They just sign up for more government grants for another degree in something else. Or use the funds for home improvements...
It is a vicious cycle and unless they are willing to break it, it will continue generation to generation.
There are psychological and sociological reasons why women who cannot independently care for their children continue to do so.
My grandmother had 13 children - all a product of welfare...
I think one thing that has not been mentioned is that this is extreme weather for this part of the midwest. People do not have common sense. A lot of people in this area have never lived anywhere else or even traveled. I just read a post on FB from a young lady who complained to the local...
We need more like you - our mail didn't even run. We didn't expect much though since there was a 6' long drift that kept growing out by the mailbox. Nor did we have trash pick up or the newspaper delivered! It was like a repeat of Sunday around here. ;)
