      I looked at my SP101 and it didn't have any of those type of hideous marks. Not sure why Ruger would deface their firearms in that way. If they have to mark their parts during assembly one would think they find a better way than this.

      S&w model 10 with five inch barrel

      If you don't buy it I will. My first gun was a 5 inch barrel Model 10. Bought it used for $120 dollars but that was over 30 years ago. I regret getting rid of that gun. It was a great shooting weapon. Basic but reliable and accurate.
