      Question about 22 versus a.380

      Looking for a semi auto for a twelve year old. His dad thinks a 22 would be perfect . I think a 380 would be a better fit. In either case which pistol would you recommend and caliber? He was looking at Beretta 22 but the weight unloaded was like almost 2 pounds. So weight is also a consideration

      NRA membership

      I've noticed that many private shooting ranges require you to be a member of the NRA before they let you join. Is it because they receive funding or what? Would like to join a shooting range but I don't particularly like the idea of being forced to join any organization

      Just joined the site. Looks like plenty of local info available. Glad I stumbled across this. Just bought an XDM45 ACP. Only fired 50 rounds so far at Strictly Shooting. Waiting til it warms up a little so I don't freeze while shooting. Hopefully by the end of this week
