Sure looks like this goes generally in Trump's favor:
All 9 agree that POTUS has some degree of immunity from prosecution (all 9 expressed concern regarding unintended consequences of precedent to the contrary)
The split is in the matter of degree.
The liberal 3 will likely say that POTUS...
Two thoughts:
1) I think this scenario devalues later-round picks with respect to trade value for teams trying to trade up.
2) One thing the Colts have always excelled at is finding later-round and undrafted talent (at one time, the Colts had an insane streak of years in which their initial...
Trading up for a WR in a draft that is WR heavy is not very logical and would be especially out of character for the Colts and Chris Ballard. He's more likely to trade down, unless they have a shot at a very specifically targeted player. His assessment of RD1-graded players on their board...
Anything that needs higher than 350-400 goes on the griddle for me, anyway. The fuel consumption of pellets at higher temperatures also doesn't make sense compared to LP.
The smoke of a pellet grill is so subtle compared to a stick burner that for most applications it likely won't matter. For that reason, a good, solid blend will work for most cooks. Costco has a Traeger Gourmet blend (maple, hickory, cherry), 33lb bag, for $27. I haven't found a better value.
Two wrongs don't make a right. I take no issue with the sentences for the parents in this case. The judge who gave time served needs to be run out on a (proverbial) rail.
The two aren't mutually exclusive. An incident can be both not an intentional act (including terrorism) and also an accident that incurs criminal liability.
The Colts have: MPJ, AP, and Josh Downs at WR. Granson, Cox, Woods, and Mallory (all of whom are pass-catching) at TE.
They don't need a vet WR (or the vet contract/cap hit or the vet locker room attitude), while also being able to draft more WRs.
All the more reason I'm glad Ballard didn't go for something like this:
1. A one-year rental on a high-cost WR?
2. The 2024 draft class is crazy deep at WR.
With Minshew under center? Not very far. It's the same reason that AP was criminally under-used last season.
Where, on offense, would you add those complimentary pieces?
If Ballard goes after a player, and that player chooses to take a lesser offer to play elsewhere (as, IIRC, was reported to...
MPJ is better than Diggs. JT is better than Mixon. The only real need there is pass rush. I believe the Colts were at least in the market for a veteran pass rusher, but this one opted for Houston. Can't really do anything about that.
The social media freakout primarily involves lamenting that other teams splash out for veteran free agents, while the Colts develop from within and maintain cap discipline.
The Colts don't need a $22MM/year CB, yet fans were freaking out about Snead. The Colts don't need a WR1, yet fans were...
I'm optimistic about the potential for 2024 and am not doing the Colts social media freakout. With Minshew, the Colts offense was essentially a Top 10. Just with the return of AR (not factoring a full season with JT, return of Evan Hull, and Jelani Woods), the Colts easily can be a Top 5...
I wasn't talking about Pittman, though extending Pittman was also a factor (see also: Zaire Franklin). I was referring to Grove, Kenny Moore, Tyquan, and Rigo (among some other, more minor re-signings).
And keep in mind, I've never been a fan of the strategy to go out and buy a bunch of veteran...
I made "poor man's" burnt ends (chuck instead of brisket point - not really "poor man's", since chuck roasts are about the same cost per pound as a full packer) over the weekend. First time trying this, but turned out excellently.
This is after I cubed the chuck, but before I...
Exactly. It's less about the pink fingernails (you do you, boo!) and more about such things appearing to be more a matter of virtue signaling. Being yourself? Great; do that. Doing things to show everyone how woke (or edgy, or [insert anything here]) you are implies expending energy much better...
