      Last year for christmas he got the zombie defense kit with four airsoft guns hand guns and a ar15 style rifle, we shoot down in the basement with those. He is getting a Red Rider bb gun for his birthday from his grandmother.

      So if I go down this road, we are looking at $200 for the permit, $600+ for a decent silencer and $200 for the trust so that the rest of the family can use the firearm with the silencer. So we will be in about $1000, am I missing something?

      They boy is hard core, if he sees it he wants to shoot it until he hears how loud it is. It is completely a sensory issue with the noise.

      Newbie to IN GUN, been shooting for over thirty years and have the hearing to prove it. Four years ago my son was diagnosed with tourettes syndrome, his version includes arm, head and leg tics. While he is shooting he is so focused that the tics go away and it does not affect his shooting...
