Has anyone noticed if there is any ammo to be had? I just want to get enough 9MM to go for a range day. Not trying to be a hoarder or anything. Maybe freshen up my carry ammo.
Everything I have read and watched usually says nothing about the gas tube. I think one or two articles or videos may have said to avoid getting anything in the gas tube to avoid fouling it but that's it.
Holsters and such won't be needed this would strictly be for taking to the range. Like getting one in .40 just to expand calibers to shoot. Maybe even get a matching carbine.
Price and features. It was on sale at the time and it is made by Armalite so I figured the quality should be pretty good. It seemed better put together than anything else I was able to get my hands on in the price range which was just under six bills. I know I could have found a better deal on...
Just wanted to throw out an update. I have a little over a thousand rounds through this rifle now and still haven't had any issues other than a cracked feed lip on a thermold magazine and that isn't rifle related. I am no marksman but can hit center mass on a standard silhouette target with...
So I have been using the Safariland 123 horizontal mag carrier for like a little over a week now and I have to say that it is pretty comfortable so far and conceals super easy as it lays right along the belt line. I have worn it both up front right next to the buckle , 11 o'clock?, and just...
I have seen a few videos recently dealing with Hi Point pistols that kind of impressed me. In one of them they subject the gun to some serious abuse, going so far as to obstruct the barrel then clamp it closed and use a string to fire, and it still worked with few repairs. Another one...
I just ordered a Safariland horizontal mag carrier. I will post something about it once I have a chance to really check it out. I really like the idea of it going with the belt line rather than standing up and getting uncomfortable while bending and moving.
Aliengear has a new modular holster that looks really interesting now. It does IWB, OWB, and appendix with a promise of more options, like shoulder and drop leg kits, in the works.
Definitely looks interesting. I have been using one of their cloak tuck 2.0 holsters for a couple years and sometimes wish I had other holsters for different carry positions but don't really want to invest in a new holster for that once in a while whim to carry differently. This would appear to...
Looking for opinions for cleaning the bore of my rifle. Should I use the brass/nylon brush set up or is a bore snake good? I honestly just realized that the kit I have doesn't have anything small enough to fit down the barrel so I am going to get new stuff.
I just figured I would give it a shot. I was just using it for range time and had actually seen more good than bad reviews. I read about the "thermelt" name but it was on a page telling a story about them giving license to a company in Canada and that company used a cheap plastic that was prone...
I bought one of these to try it out and on the third trip to the range the back of the lip cracked. I only noticed it because the last two rounds kept popping out of the magazine as it sat on the bench. The first two trips I loaded and fired the mag six times with thirty rounds and once with...
If I am getting in and out of the vehicle alot I use my regular IWB holster but if I am on a long drive or going someplace that I won't be able to take my gun in with me I use my Remora so that I can transition the gun as needed without unholstering it.
