      WVRPC ICORE June 24th

Mark, Alex Thank you! I delivered my gun to bosshoss. It seems that I need to make a hard choice regarding chamfering. Aggressive chamfering for fastest reloads will prevent loading without moonclips. And if I want to be able to shoot without moons then only small amount of chamfering can be done.

This was my 1st ICORE match and I enjoyed it a lot. Very challenging and fun to shoot stages! Thanks a lot for all the work to organize the event! My 100% stock 627pc was very shootable, but reloads were killing me. S&W advertising that 627PC comes with cylinder chamfering is simply not true...

WTS/WTT: CZ tactical sport 40 cal

Like new condition. Around 1000 rounds fired. Comes with 3 mags (1 17rd and 2 20rd), box and papers. I am including the following extras: aluminum grips (original included), 2 mag extenders (extend capacity to 20 rd, original base pads also included), BOSS competition holster with blade tech...

Thanks for the advice regarding foam inserts. So it seems I made a good decision buying tall holders. I have 38 sp brass and placed an order for 38 short colt from starline. Revo supply 0.025 moons seem to be compatible according to the info on their site.

Thanks for the comments. BMT tool is also quite expensive. I ordered the one from revo supply for $39.

Revolver gunsmith for USPSA set up

That's interesting information. Thanks for letting me know.

Thank you. I hope this will be the case. Thanks to everyone for advice on holster. DAA racer seems to make more sense to me in terms of price and quality. Any suggestions on reasonable moon clip holders. I can see Revolver Supply sells some. Are they good? I have noticed that they sell a tall...

      WVRPC ICORE June 24th

The gun ships on Monday next week. So I should get it in my hands by the end of the week or early following week. I was fixated on delivering it to Bosshoss right away, but I think it does make sense to shoot it first as is. This would allow me to practice with the gun a week or so before...

      The Perfect Gun: Revo addition

I agree that semi-autos are easier to shoot well, assuming one can actually do that (my son can't). But if one doesn't train, the accuracy will be equally poor with both revolver and semi-auto. My wife for example doesn't want to train. She think she can just grab what ever we have in our...

GLOCK 43, DOES IT GET ANY BETTER?

I have glock 43 and I really like it and prefer to glock 26 (which I sold after getting 43). Shoots great for its size with very controllable recoil. 1-2 inch groups at 10 yards

New Jersey State Police File Lawsuit Against Sig Sauer Over Gun Malfunctions

I had bad experiences with a couple of sigs I bought. Admittedly, they were used, but still I would think that a great firearm would be reliable long term. One was in 9 mm and the other in 40 sw. They ran fine but only when totally clean and well lubed. After 300 rounds or so I would start...

      The Perfect Gun: Revo addition

I think you also need to take into account who might be using your self defense gun in a crisis situation. I really like glocks and they function 100% reliably in my hands, but when I give it to my son it always malfunctions after just 1 shot. I was really amazed by his ability to induce...

      Revolver Barrel Length

Very interesting thread. Good to know that 4 inch is such nice barrel length. I debated this question a while ago when buying 629 44 mag and in the end decided to buy a 4 inch version.

Which Trigger, Oh which trigger should I go for my G-19?

I think the stock trigger is pretty good from factory. I wouldn't change anything if you want to use it for carry.

I will pick them up from your house. I definitely want to learn how to adjust and maintain revolvers.

Revolver gunsmith for USPSA set up

I tried to reply to your PM, but it didn't work due to a 50 post rule. So I am copying it here: "Thank you for the load data and an offer to shoot your 627! I will gladly accept it. Thank you! So you are shooting 9 mm bullets out of your 627? Can one shoot any 9mm bullet or just that particular...

      WVRPC ICORE June 24th

Alaskan454 and water63, thank you for your generous offers from both of you to run your 627's in this match with your equipment! I would be a fool not to accept them. So I'll be there on June 24th and I really appreciate your help! Hoever, there is one question that is not very clear to me. Will...
