Thanks Long Coat I couldn't remember for the life of me what it was called. Would you know if it can be used in a three position lower so it can be safe-semi-binary? And Cameramonkey that's a great point and I would really hope it will function how you described.
Alright I'm looking into doing my first AR build (556), but the catch is my new job is in Illinois and they're commies. So I guess I'm looking into getting at least the lower receiver asap. A friend told me about a system that when you pull the trigger it shoots normally and when the trigger is...
I swapped hardware with a buddy of mine and I now currently have the brass/gold hardware and it's starting to dull. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they fixed it how so? Can it be polished or am I just SOL?
This made me reminisce about a RIR Rooster I used to have he was 1 in 100 he would never back down no matter how hard or far I kicked him he would always come back for more.
Also if you're looking for a solid long term chicken coup I used to have one of those tool sheds they have at Home Depot and I built a wall down the center so each of the double doors opened into a separate "room". Cut access doors/holes (10"x12") towards the back in both rooms leading into a...
Highly recommend Barred Rocks, Cornish Giants, and Americana (For the colored eggs). But make sure your fence is at least 6 ft tall and you clip their wings early and keep them clipped. Sepperate by gender as soon as they resemble the producer of chicken strips instead of chicken nuggets.
Overall I'm willing to do minor environmental regulating (vacuum seal, dehumidifier, dark closet) to be able to keep ammunition reliable for self defense purposes for as long as I may need it. Especially with the future of firearms being extremely unclear.
Here's an online source Does Ammunition Have A Shelf Life? Let?s Take A Look ? Concealed Nation
Also it's just from info I'm picking up talking to other gun owners. Some say they rotate their self defense ammunition yearly.
Great to hear. My research pointed towards a 1 year shelf life, but if it shoots it shoots. It seems like it would be near impossible to have a respectable stockpile if it went bad
I've heard from a few sources that ammunition has a shelf life, but I was curious if perhaps vacuum sealing ammo in a food saver could extend the shelf life exponentially. Does anyone have any thoughts on the subject?
I was more curious on using it in the kitchen rather than for survival. I'm just a bit curious if it would mess with the patterns or clarity of the patterns if sharpened or used regularly.
I'm a little late on the thread, but I put 100 rounds of Buckshot through it and it worked very well until the spot welds on the dust cover on he recoil spring guide rod fell out. It didn't seem to serve a purpose so I continued shooting after a quick look over and ran flawlessly. It's a lot of...
