I've been looking at these and finally popped on one. This thing is very well made. Comfortable in my hand. Accurate and just looks darn good too. I'm really impressed not to mention the potential with the other barrels that are available. I'm very pleased and will be looking for another one.
I make my own as well but if ya' just want to buy it from some where, try L.E.M.Products inc. they have all kinds of seasonings and kits for jerky summer sausage and such. I've used several of their products and never been disappointed.
Last year at a Tippecanoe school an officer left his firearm in the stall after a 10-200. Luckily it was found by faculty and not a student. Guess we won't hear details on that one.
Totally understand your dilemma, as I would also be overly aware of the muzzle direction. Think I'd hafta buy slacks with larger pockets to allow for redirect.
