      Thanks for the quick replies. So this thing is really from 1877?! I assume it's nearly "worthless" because it's been modified and is in rough condition, but would appreciate any guestimates of its value. I'm considering just cleaning it up and putting it on display...I have no need for it as...

      Hoping someone can help me identify this old firearm. It has some "interesting" stamps on it, including some Japanese(?) markings. I believe it is a .410 *BUT* I'm not sure if that's the original spec... Any info would be appreciated! Scott

      I'm not going to say anything new, but must agree with the overall sentiment of the replies. Chicago blames anything and everything EXCEPT themselves. That keeps the gov't cronies in power and never forces their constituents to solve any problem. Scott351

      wtburnette: It sounds like you will go to room e100 at the city-county building. Room farthest east on the first floor... You will need to have the proper $$ money order (I used USPS money order). While you're there, you will fill out a short form and be digitally fingerprinted (again)...
