Where to find AK parts? I'm new to the AK

AWS is in Greenwood, IN, and are quickly growing and constantly pumping out good AK stuff. They worked on my AK last year and did a great job, so I definitely would recommend them. They can help you out with anything I'm sure. Advanced Weapon Systems

      Dry Practice Observations 2018

Huge fan of the NEOMAG for my extra mag while I'm carrying. I am a lefty, carry around 7-8 oclock, and keep a spare mag in my front right pocket hanging on a NEOMAG. It's worked great with full size and single stack mags. https://theneomag.com/

Please post an AAR sir. :)

What are your going to in 2018 to be a better shooter and Gun Handler?

Anyone take a class with Stoeger? He's coming to North Carolina in April so I signed up. Also, Givens is coming to South Carolina the month after, so I'll do that as well.

      Dry Practice Observations 2018

Can anyone give me a basic rundown of a basic dry fire routine? I've been doing USPSA matches for about a year now, finally about to hit B class, and to be honest, I never practice at home. I know my draw is sloppy (I ****ed up a few at the last indoor match and cost me seconds I'm sure), and...

      TiN coating/Silicon Carbide Grip Work

I've done two local indoor USPSA matches, and two regular range sessions. I'm just mad I didn't do it earlier. Alma does it so good that it seriously looks factory. That's really the only reason I sent it to him..

Carry Gun Match at Parabellum January 24, 2018

Almost want to drive 9 hours back to Indy for this, sounds awesome.

      TiN coating/Silicon Carbide Grip Work

My grip tape held up, but I ordered a few of them I'll never use. I didn't send my gun to Alma initially because I didn't want much downtime, but I was without my frame less than two weeks total. You won't be disappointed, he does a fantastic job.

      TiN coating/Silicon Carbide Grip Work

Gold or black. I put 200rds through it yesterday. Came home, sprayed with gun cleaner (I use M7) and everything wiped right off. No part of the coating had worn off or "seen better days" so I was happy. Even the feed ramp looked freshly coated. I'll report back after 1000rds.

      TiN coating/Silicon Carbide Grip Work

Combination Post here. I have one of the first Sig P320-X5's out there, and it came with an uncoated stainless barrel. They later changed to a nice black DLC coating. I've been tempted to do a TiN coating like some custom Glock barrels use, and I think STI uses it as well. I couldn't really...

Wanted: Suggestions on "dress pant" carry knives

Sorry I've been MIA, I've been busy researching stabby things. Dean - as usually you have good taste and we probably have very similar budgets. At this point I'll probably go with the Chris Reeves knife everyone and their brother suggested. I would really like to see one in person so I'll...

Wanted: Suggestions on "dress pant" carry knives

Since moving to Charlotte I have a job that requires me to dress up every day, and not carrying some sort of knife has me feeling lonely and helpless. I'm looking for some suggestions on a small, lightweight folder, that packs some quality behind it. Probably also need some suggestions on...

      New Brous Blades EDC knife.

I've been wearing this nearly daily since I posted this, knife is simply great. I'd highly recommend one for EDC purposes, especially in the fall/winter where you have an outer layer. Also, cut the tip of my finger off with it (exaggerating) so it's #RHINO approved.

USPSA Gun In Limited (.40 S&W) - Decisions

There are quite a few people shooting 9mm in Limited with some success. I think for a typical shooter it is a slight handicap, but for me (most people?) I shoot USPSA for fun, and as long as I'm getting better - that's ultimately what I'm concerned with. If you want to be humbled, look up...

      Rangemaster Open Enrollment Courses, 2018

Nice - Thanks for posting Tom. I was hoping to get to the Indiana pistol classes you offered a little while ago, but ended up moving to Charlotte, NC. Florence, SC is an easy drive away so I'll be signing up for those May classes shortly!

      New Brous Blades EDC knife.

I've wanted something from Brous for a while now, and I always wanted a Ka-Bar TDI, so when Brous did a custom knife collab with James Yeager (although I'm not a huge fan) in a very similar design to the TDI, I had to have it. Knife is very well built, comes with a kick ass holster, and fits...

      Sig P320-X5

I still get a few PM's about this gun. As an update here's where I stand: 1. 3k rounds down the hole. Almost all have been Freedom Munitions 147gr, which measure out to 130pf. Since my first post, I've had one failure. Thankfully it was when I was chrono-ing the gun. Gun has the...

Indiana State Police - do they follow any guidelines when in route to a crime?

My point was not that he was speeding. I've been passed by cops all the time doing 90-100mph. But up until yesterday, I've never been scared or startled by an officer passing me.. He had to be doing ~120mph and on top of that making erratic lane changes at a very high rate of speed. He...

South Central Gun Club September 3rd. USPSA Match

This will be my last match before moving to North Carolina on Tuesday. Hopefully I'll get enough packed Friday and Saturday so I can actually make it.

Indiana State Police - do they follow any guidelines when in route to a crime?

I was passed by a Indiana State Police car this evening around 8:30pm going westbound on 465 near 865. I saw him around a 1/4 mile behind me, coming up fast with flashers and sirens. I was in the middle lane and started signalling/merging to get to the right lane (he was coming up in the...
