Nice! I went a slightly different way with the optic. I bought an offset 1913 mlok rail section from Magpul and put my Aimpoint PRO on it. Folds up just fine, and the slight 45 degree tilt to acquire the optic is a non issue. I have it zeroed for 50m, and the height over bore only really only...
I had bought my first firearm (a S&W shield, no safety) a day before I applied for my lifetime LTCH. In the months before I recieved my liscence, I carried around the house in my Crossbreed Minituck with an empty chamber and magazine (spare loaded magazine in my back pocket just in case of a...
Good job. You seem to have taken the same approach to stippling i do. Irregularity is the key, for artistically impaired people like myself, to hide your sins and make a stipple job look decent.
Just do the frame work yourself. Patience, a wood burner / soldering iron, a dremel, and some 2500 grit automotive sandpaper are all you need. If you, like me, have no artistic capability, you can try to go for the no pattern stipple. If it doesn't look like a regular pattern, then the eye wont...
Good gunbelt, and as stated in the thread many times before, learning to wear pants properly. I didn't start wearing my pant properly (same problem, gut no ass) until I started carrying a firearm.
All day, every day, I carry a G19 with a TLR-1 in a StealthGearUSA Ventcore 3 o'clock IWB. A good gunbelt (I use a 5.11 tactical gunbelt a buddy of mine gave me), makes it to where I don't print in even a t-shirt. I also have a Black Arch OWB horizontal mag carrier for my spare G17 mag I wear...
I have the rubberized Talon Grips on my Shield 9. They're fantastic. However, after removing the finger grooves and stippling my G19, I am 100% on board with stippling every plastic gun I own. To each his own though.
I use a Black Arch owb horizontal mag carrier. It's just as wide as (tall) as my carry belt, and at the 8 o'clock position, I don't even notice the g17 mag that is invisible on my waist. Super comfy. They make 4 sizes for all possible carry magazines.
I also have a mcarbo'd KelTek S2k G17 Gen2 and it is my favorite rifle I own. The cheek weld is difficult, but once you figure out an optic solution that fits your needs (RedLion fore end, Midwest Industries S2k mount, or even Magpul offset optics mlok mount) it becomes a non issue.
And I sure do. I have babied this wonderful bangstick. All of the Mcarbo mods, an aimpoint PRO on an offset mlok mount, recoil pad, etc. After nearly 2000 rounds it has ate everything I've thrown at it, not a single malf. Long arms are the one thing kel tek, imho, makes flawlessly. And I wouldnt...
Did they not transition to lethal force sooner simply because they can't collect a bounty on a dead man? Ineptitude all around, absolutely, but I feel like this may have been a driving factor in the "bounty hunters'" actions
Despite the need for warranty, I think I am still going to become separated with a small chunk of change soon. I just hope my wife doesn't kill me with my fancy new scope..
