      I was an instructor at the 4017th Combat Crew Training School in the mid 80s. We had B52 students whose fathers flew the Buff even back then. Today it would probably be great-grandfathers.

      This picture may not be legit, IDK. What's puzzling is there is no "rooster tail" of water being kicked up from the ocean if it really is that low. Many times, a fighter can look down and see the rooster tail of water (or dust if over the desert) and there's a low-level intruder at the front...

      Both the GP100 and the 686 are great guns. None of mine have given me any issues at all. Both models are very strong (the GP100 is a tank) and both will handle full charge .357Mag loads. You can't go wrong between the two; you just have have to decide which one you like the feel of best.

      Several of you guys have nailed it. Speed of the trigger pull should have nothing to do with it. I filmed a slow pull so CS could easily see it didn't work. Their reply was just a total cop out because they didn't have the smarts enough to repair it properly. And they soaked me for shipping...

      Be careful. Shoot your 856 a bunch to assure yourself of its reliability. Mine failed at round number 266 - cylinder would unlock but not rotate in either SA or DA. Sent in back to Taurus twice - the second time with a video they didn't want to watch until I got them on the phone and said...

      My experience with Taurus's poor quality and totally inadequate quality control didn't happen a decade ago. It was just a year or two ago. A recent experience. Some people are completely justified in their ill feelings about Taurus. I'm 0 for 2 with Taurus.

      I used Zenni for reading glasses. Sent them my eye doctor's prescription and picked out a pair of cheapo frames (just in case they screwed it up I would not have that much money in them). They were right on! Prescription lens worked out very well. Happy with Zenni.
