      The Open Carry Argument

      I've always carried concealed, for some of the reason listed. This gives me a lot of materiel to digest, but I strongly suspect I'll be investing in a new holster, and carrying in a new way.

      So-o-o, if I own a handgun for home protection, but do not have a LTCH, I cannot even take it to a gun shop for repair? Or do I just hope they make house calls? I haven't read the laws for awhile, but I did think that problem, was addressed somewhere.

      Daughter considering military - input please

      If your daughter has the grades, she might want to consider one of the military academies. She would get an excellent education, and on graduation as a junior officer (2nd Lieutenant)would probably have more responsibility given her than anywhere in civilian life.
