Help - Need Gunsmith to Fit New FNX-45 Tactical Non-Threaded Barrel

I recently bought a non-threaded barrel from Midwest Gun Works for my FNX-45 Tactical. Does anyone know of a gunsmith that they would recommend to fit the new barrel to the slide? I'm located in Kokomo. Thanks!

Kokomo woman arrested for making videos of animal abuse

Seven years or less doesn’t seem right. Hard to imagine a person like that ever reforming. Need to keep a close eye on her when she gets out or who knows what she’ll do.

Target shooting without a proper backstop - bad idea!

Anyone see this from the Cass County Sheriff's office? Individuals were target shooting without a proper back stop and in the direction of a highway. Luckily nobody was hurt.

Are we set back another 30 days now with the opening of Indiana?

If Holcomb is a RHINO, then you might be surprised about the number of RHINO's in Indiana today. A poll in April showed 63% of Hoosiers approved of the way the Governor is handling the COVID-19 pandemic, and 81% supported the stay at home order. I've been quite happy with him as our governor...

      performance center m&p ported.

I have an M&P Pro Core 9 and installed an Apex Tactical Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit. I used the 4lb spring in the kit rather than the 3lb spring. It is a great gun! However, I did buy a non-ported aftermarket barrel for mine. Personally, the ported barrel doesn't seem to improve...

      Ruger MK IV Standard 6in

I installed an Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Kit for Ruger Mk IV 22/45 in my 22/45. They also make one for the Ruger Mk IV. It is a 4.5lb trigger pull. I also installed an Apex Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit in my M&P Pro Core 9, and also used the 4lb spring supplied in the kit...

Sig Sauer 2022 & other 9mms at the range

I bought my SP2022 in 2009. I also own a P320, a PPQ M2, a VP9, and an M&P with an Apex trigger. All of the guns are accurate and reliable but the SP2022 is by far my favorite too. The reason it's my favorite is that I tend to shoot it more accurately than the other guns. Can't explain why...

Old Meriden Model 15 pump 22 rifle - repairable?

I have a Meriden Model 15 pump action tube fed 22 rifle that was my grandpa's. I inherited it when he passed away. The blueing is gone and the metal needs some work. The biggest problem is probably the rifling in the barrel. The bullets appear to tumble (based on the paper target). Is...

      Interarms Walther PPK/S help

Thanks for the advice. I called Walther and they are repairing it for free. I never imagined they'd do that given the age and fact that it was made by Interarms.

      Interarms Walther PPK/S help

I have a stainless Interarms Walther PPK/s that I bought new sometime in the mid to late 1990's. I was shooting it today and had several rounds that failed to fire. You could see the indentation in the round where the firing pin hit it. I re cocked the hammer and tried again and they still...

Help - Shotgun with signs of rust

I have a blued shotgun that has been in a plastic case with a foam interior lining for several years. I recently pulled it out and noticed some very faint rust color on the foam where the barrel rests in the case. There is no visible rust on the barrel with the naked eye (at least not with my...

      Family not gun friendly

I try to not discuss my gun ownership with anyone that doesn't need to know. Only my closest friends and a few select relatives know. My guns are always locked and stored so there is no reason anyone should ever feel that the presence of the guns threatens their safety or their children's...

Shooting Handgun - Nearsighted With Glasses

I agree completely. Unless you're training for competition, you should train wearing the glasses you normally wear. I don't think the bad guy would be willing to wait till you got your special shooting glasses on. I enjoy target shooting, but it is also about training for self defense.

      RUGER SR9C verse FNS-9 COMPACT

I recently purchased the SR9c. I really like the trigger but the trigger reset seems to be a little longer than I'm used to. I'm sure it won't be a problem once I train with it, but it isn't ideal. I've had quite a few guns and never had a similar problem with any of them. Other than the...
