      Did someone say Cherokee? :D The 96 is an odd year. The fuel pump is a one year only deal, some of the connectors are old style and some are 97+ depending on the build date. They are solid though. Mine is a 97 that I bought 5 years ago at 92k. The only mechanical maintenance I've done that...

      Don't put any money into a dana 35. Do an 8.8, 44 or 8.25 swap and save yourself some trouble when you scatter the 35.

      When it comes to offroad performance a Locker is the BEST thing performance wise i've done to my Jeep. Learn to wheel open first, then lock it.

      Mission Impossible run over the weekend: Umm......this is how you get stuck going DOWNHILL! Notice the fresh scrapes near the door lock, Before that I was driving on all 4 tires and 2 doors! :D
