So I’m trying to mount a Leopold scope to my m77. Got the special rings ruger required, went to mount the scope and…..a new problem for me! The mounts are too far apart or, the scope isn’t long enough to get the rings behind the bell and the power adjustment on the scope. Do I need different...
Reloading brings me peace and I just enjoy the process. I’ll continue to buy when I find something “cheap” but won’t be loading any 8mm rem mag or 300 weatherby for a while! Prices always go up fast but take forever to come back down.
Runnings, it’s a kind of farm store in Elkhart has a pretty good reloading selection just found it last week. I think it’s a grand opening pretty soon.
Went to the firing pin in Nile’s mi yesterday, they had a new batch of Alliant powders, ar comp was 73$ a pound. Wow. The stuff he had from before was still the prices of before. I bought two pounds of something else at 45 each that I didn’t really need at the moment, but that price increase is...
First time I’ve been to green top. But I will say they had a good selection of most everything. Reloading, ammo, long guns and handguns. If anyone is going to the Richmond area, I’d have to give them a thumbs up.
I don’t NEED to load anything at the moment. I about pretty often, but they aren’t long sessions. Since I can shoot at home, I don’t feel the need to put in a bunch of work at any given time. I’m not a competition guy, just practice to stay somewhat sharp. I’ve never loaded more than 600 or so a...
Went to Richmond Virginia to visit some wife’s family. Went to a gun store called green top. Nice place and they had large pistol for 94.00. Grabbed a thousand.
There is an awful lot here to analyze. It would seem that you can’t really go wrong per se, but you can go right-er. Or maybe I’m over simplifying it? I do like keeping track of the quality checks on the single stage.
I have a Lee single stage press. Like it well enough. Only my second year reloading. Was thinking about going to a progressive press? Thoughts? Recommendations? I would t want to have to buy all new dies!
