I believe that they do hold there value, but most on the time when you buy a used one your getting so extras for the same price you would just get the gun for.
when i got activated to go to iraq we had all of our tools packed up to ship over and we still had aircraft maintance to do. So for the 2 months i was at Ft. Sill for my MOB i used my leatherman wave to perform maintance on the aircraft. Not the ideal to but it got the job done.
I found mine at Gander Mountain for $90. I have owned it for about 3 years now and i love shooting it. i hope you find one and enjoy as much as everyone else.
I use to play with them when i was younger, and i got what i thought was good. I could do a couple of tricks and if i just did a basic flip open and close i was pretty fast. Although i never really had anyone teach me but i thought they were a blast and would love to own another one.
I own a mosin M44 and love it. it is a cheap and fun to shoot rifle. I do agree with 88E30M50 there is a little kick on the M44 because it is a little shorter than the 91/30, an all around fun gun to shoot.
