      Most alaskan guides suggest shotgun for the average nimrod. Go to Supercub.org and /or Backcountry pilot.org Both have gun sections in their forums. of course there are as many opinons there as any other web forum, but alot of first hand Bear gun knowledge. jeff

      Yep, I did the L-1 finger print and they handle the money order for the ISP. Did all on a Tue and had permit on Sat. and truth be known, I did not check the mail on Fri. so it may have been there already. :):

      Wait on lifetime permit

      I must of got lucky...1st time Lifetime, Applied online on the morning of the 12th , did fingerprints with L1 at 10:00, Hendricks county sheriffs at 3:00. Permit in mailbox Sat 16th....4 days :D Jeff

      Got it WOW, applied online Tue morning 12th, Found out L1 was by luck in Brownsburg that morning..2.5 mile from my house. Finger prints at 10:15 Hendricks county sheriff at 3:30, Lifetime LTCH in mailbox today the 16th. WOW again. Can't wait to do my part for the gun economy, gonna spend some...

      Ha, I was at the 1500 and saw "IT" in purple. She.. uh..He..Huh ..It, asked a vendor to hold a gun while checking the barrel with an inspection lite, I thought he was gonna have a cow! :eek:
