And in the next breath you suggest a gun that "runs". If we're picking nits, I'd say their "error" was more correct. What's the name of this website, again? My truck runs. My chainsaw runs. My guns work. Maybe if they were full auto or something...
Heck, I've stopped going to sources that are actually more aligned with my views for this same reason. They've just gotten too looney these days. It seems like they're all going off the rails anymore.
I couldn't agree more. I just find it sad that the anti-gun crowd just assumes that if someone is carrying a firearm, they will surely use it to solve any and all disagreements they find themselves in. I mentioned to my boss one day that I have a gun locked up in my vehicle every day at work...
I have also been doing some research to decide between Ruger and S&W. Those of you who mention the sturdiness of the Rugers as a deciding factor, what do you think about what TheYankeeMarshall has to say on the matter? Is he misinformed, or is his information accurate and something of which many...
Any more than you can effectively carry loaded, I'd say. Then again, when the zombies come, if you're gonna be doing all your shooting from your rooftop, there's probably no such thing as too many. ;) :ar15:
Maybe that's a factor of the guns you've shot 40 out of. I can tell you that my XD40 is a more comfortable shooter than my old Colt Defender (as expected) or my wife's P938 (also as one might expect) and every bit as easy to shoot as my son's HK VP9 (which was a surprise).
I've got what's probably a dumb question. Without full auto capability, what is the draw of the 9mm "sub guns" like the Sig MPX or the Zenith Z-5? Don't get me wrong, they are way cool looking guns, and if money were no object I would have one, but what do they offer that, say, a Sig P226...
The SP101 is definitely a sweet-looking gun, especially the Talo editions, but I may be leaning toward a S&W for 6-round capacity. At that point it's a matter of deciding which one of the 20-different models appeals to me the most. :n00b:;)
