15 year-old student arrested for sharing chicken nuggets

A 15 year-old accepted a chicken nugget meal from a student who receives subsidized lunches. Eating the "free" lunch without being enrolled in the "free" lunch program was considered theft by school administrators & by the 2 police officers who responded. Reason did not prevail that day, despite both students explaining what had happened.

Yea I agree... yes, she is doing fine, and thanks for asking. She ended up getting all the work she missed, going to Saturday school to make up the days, and ended up with straight A's for that year. She still remembers, and knows how big of a crock of crap it all was, oh and knows to NEVER assist the school administration on ANYTHING without mom or dad being present.
