Yeah kinda nerve racking showing up to a meet with someone you know has a firearm while you have cash. Especially since this is gonna be my first handgun purchase I’m just trying to find out what’s best. Do you think maybe a police station would be a good place to meet?
Unless you tell the seller, they won't know it's your first handgun purchase and that you're unarmed. Well, anybody on INGO will know if they were part of this discussion (or search for it). That being said, the chances of being robbed by an INGO seller are slim to none. YMMV when dealing with other forums.

When people say be up front about yourself to the seller, they're suggesting that you disclose your age (and that you're a proper person), not that you're unarmed going into the meeting. Some sellers just may not want to deal with anybody under 21.

Meeting at a police station is a wonderful idea. It's also a good idea to check with them first as they might have a designated location for such transactions.
