1894 Marlin

I have an 1894 Marlin in 44 special/44 mag that I bought new this past summer. The gun is OK, but I’d like the action slicked up, and on occasion it does jam. Do any of you guys or gals know a good Smith here in Indiana that specializes in lever guns, or maybe a smith that works on cowboy guns? I live near Wabash, but will travel anywhere in the state.

Posting just for curiosity. I'd like mine worked on a bit. Mostly just deburring around the loading gate as I'm sick of getting my thumb and finger nail cut up when I'm reloading.

Deburring the mag tube and angling the interior of the end of the tube will ease cartridge feeding.
