One of the bushing holes in my 1911 frame is 'buggered'.
I say 'buggered' because it's not stripped.
You can thread the bushing part way in then it will get tight.
The threads have been messed up but not stripped.
I believe I can chase the threads and cure this pesky problem.
But I need a bushing tap.
So, the question is what is the size of a bushing tap for a 1911?
Does anyone around Bedford have one that I could use, borrow, rent?

They are $40 from brownells!!
