Looks like I'm going to be under my monthly allowance and have a bit of extra cash so I'm shopping around for some "bad weather guns".
I'm looking for guns that might have some "distinction" to them as they'll most likely be used this winter and fall in bad weather. Rain, mud, use etc. Not too picky about looks but want them to run properly or easily fixed. I'm pretty competent with a hammer and duct tape if needed.

I've got around $600 to spend on a good 1911 in .45acp only.
I'll go a few hundred bucks on a dependable 12ga pump.
Money up or down depending on gun.

I'm about 45 minutes south of Indy but I'm in Southport/Beech Grove area almost daily so I'll drive a bit for a decent gun.

Better edit here. I do have INDL and LTCH PAPERS

OH, Without being snobby or difficult here...I ain't gonna pay retail neither. Fair money for fair guns. Thanks.
