    .
The 22-250 is a much larger and differently shaped case than 223 but uses similar diameter bullets. The top velocity is much higher. Guessing a little but I think 22-250 is 5-6 hundred fps faster with 50-55 grain.

No, you cannot use the same dies, as the cases are dramatically different. You typically will use a slower-burning powder with the 22-250 to get optimal results. It's kind of like comparing a 308 Winchester to one of the 300 magnums.

You won't be able to use the same shell holder between the two because the .22-250 has a larger diameter case head.
You won't be able to use the same dies because of the larger diameter case and other totally different geometry of the .22-250 case.
However, you're home free with bullets, as both rounds use the same .224 diameter bullets; so as long as your rifling has a fast enough twist to stabilize whatever you're shooting, you're set.
As Broom explained, powders for the larger round tend to be on the mid-range for burn rate, while powders for the smaller tend to be on the faster end.
Be sure to follow the data properly, but choosing between the two, I'd go with the larger one because I'm a reloader and because it's such an awesome round for hitting varmints at a bit greater distance.
