22 Long range rifle at RCC

RCC is hosting a weeknight rifle match on Wed June 10. Setup will be about 4:15, shooting starts about 5:30 for the early arrivals. If you can't get there early, kindly let me know and we'll save a spot on a later relay. Format this month is Varmint Hunt, an out & back sequence that makes shooters change distance 8 times in 10 minutes. This is also a classifier, this score counts toward working your way toward farther targets.

While we are coming out of the Covid era, if you are sick or feel your health may be compromised, please don't feel compelled to attend. The Saturday match this month is June 20.

Adults- $15
Stand alone juniors- $10
Jrs with paid adult- free

Fun match as always but man, that wind was without mercy when it came to shooting targets at 110 yards.

15 entries last night, pretty good given that we had 20 mph winds for a 22 rimfire long range match. Factor in that all our Steel Challenge shooters were prepping for their Area 5 match, but we had a great time. Armchair Operator again won High Master class, next time I'll bring the right rifle!!!
