    2000 rounds of .223 (5.56)

    [STRIKE]I have for sale 2000 rounds of newly produced Russian production .223 ammo. I will sell either all together or divided in half at 1000 rounds each.

    1000 rounds is Brown Bear 55grn full bimetal jacketed, polymer coated steel case, and non-corrosive berdan primer.

    Were originally boxed in 20round boxes - but I took them out of the boxes to load them on stripper clips - then took them off the stripper clips so now they are all loose.

    I will sell each 1000 rounds for $300

    I'm only asking because I don't know.. can you explain the reason for a coated steel case. And will this case cause any harm like normal steel casing will

    No, they are perfectly fine to shoot. Most surplus and European ammunition is coated steel to prohibit rust. Brass is definately better... but steel is cheaper.
