I have Springfield 410 side by side made in Chicopee Falls, Ma. There is no date stamping on when it was made. The serial # is T12163. Just curious how old it is. Anyone have any ideas?

I am not an expert on these I believe these were made by Stevens. (Savage/Stevens/Springfield) They were marketed by many different names: the most common were "Springfield Arms Co." and "Eastern Arms Co." Without a photo and some other information I'm not really sure, but it would likely be 1920's or 1930's, but production ran up to the late 1940's.

The single barrel version were very common and the current H&R guns are a modern day equivalent of those variants. I'm a lot fuzzier on the side-by-side guns.
