There is a lot of people on here who use the .44 mag in a rifle, myself included. I use a H&R Handi Rifle in .44mag for deer hunting! Its a great round, little recoil, and accurate.

I shoot a marlin 1894. I've shot deer with it my best being a 10 pt 141 B&C 163 lb. I can shoot it all day long without any problems. Its a great rifle round. I load my own for it and am very happy with the accuracy and terminal performance

Not long ago I bought a little Ruger bolt action in .44
I haven't shot it just a whole lot but I like it a lot. When the weather gets a bit better I'm going to work with it some more.

1894ss here. Fantastic weapon and opens up the 44 mag cartridge to its extremes. I've taken two deer with mine.

It's not a big issue with me, but I could only get it to group 3" at 100 with factory ammo (Hornady). That's good enough hunting accuracy, but it might put others off. I'll be doing so load development this year to see if I can tighten it up.

I had a Handi 44 mag that was a good gun. It performed well on the 2 deer that I took with it last fall. For some reason I sold it after deer season, but replaced it shortly thereafter with a CVA Scout.

I haven't shot the Scout yet, but if it shoots as good as the Handi I'll be happy!

I have a Puma 92 44mag and I've taken it out after deer and black bear. So far it's only got one deer to it's credit though. I can hit a 6" plate at 150yards with the gun and it's a great rifle.

Me and my sons use .44 mag rifles to hunt deer. I have 2 Handi's and 1 Ruger 77/44 that we use. The .44 magnum is a great deer round and I'm looking to get a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag sometime in the future. My grandson wants to hunt with one of the 44 mag rifles we have now, for next deer season. He will be 13 by then.....

Bought a Ruger 77/44 last spring, absolutely love it. I put a Burris Short Mag 3-9x scope on it and it's very accurate with Winchester White Box ammo. Took a doe with it last November, one shot kill.
