I have a number of brass headstamped .445 Gates. For the life of me I can't find much on this stuff. I know it's an early headstamp for what is now called the .445 supermag but can't find much else about it...value, availability, or otherwise.

I also have some .303 British that has been resized to .445 Supermag along with a few pieces of headstamped .445 supermag.

I hear that shooting these things is something to be seen in order to be believed. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Starline makes brass, dies are readily available.

DW revolvers and T/C barrels are relatively common.

There are several rechambered 44 Magnums running around since the 2007 DNR regulation change.

I've played with a few barrels, kind of fun - but nothing spectacular.
