    The price difference between SP and LP primers is negligible. I think they did it to make reloading more difficult so they could sell more ammo. :)

    'Many' manufacturers switching to SP primers is an overstatement. As far as I know, there are only two manufacturers that use SP primers right now. From the backlash reloaders have spit on the forums, I'm surprised anyone is still doing it. It would behoove them to stop... immediately.

    I put my SP .45 casings in the recycling bucket. They're not allowed in my reloading room, specifically for THIS reason.

    A--GIVE ME ALL of your .45acp. brass+I'll sort it out.. Bill.
