I can't say it's the best, but I'm very impressed by the Silencerco Osprey 45. It will also depend on what you deem is the best. Modularity? Serviceable? Length? Ultimate sound reduction? All those things are things to consider.

I have an Octane, and ordered an Obsidian. The Obsidian is modular and is supposed to be the quietest 45 can, via some internet videos, who knows though....

I personally don't have a pistol can either but I am also looking. I've been thinking about the SilencerCo Osprey and the Dead Air Ghost 45 if they are something you want to check out.

I was thinking about a Thompson machine ISIS series because of how small it is but don't want to sacrifice the db reduction either .

The Isis-2 .45 is the normal industry standard 1.375" tube like many other .45 suppressors. It is so quiet we are phasing out the QMF-2 .45 suppressor because this one is without a doubt better.

    Thanks!
