    I stopped recommending HST long ago, because I was tired of never being able to find it. I will risk another run on HST by recommending it one again.

    In all of my water jug testing, .45 ACP HST's never fail to expand to an inch in diameter. No other lead based .45 ACP bullet that I've tested can claim that. The only other .45ACP bullets that I've personally tested that expand that far are the Barnes PDX all copper bullets.

    Not doubting your word but Im kind of looking for some testing data.

    Personally I'd recommend either Gold Dot or Winchester PDX1. I submerged a box each in water for about a month. I fired each round with in a minute or two after removing them from the water. Every round fired on the first trigger pull. There were no failures of any type but that may of been because I was using my Walther P99 at the time... ;)
