We shot two 50-70's yesterday. The first was an Allins II conversion from 1866 that started life as a .58 cal. musket. That's right an original Trapdoor Springfield! The second was a C. Sharps that is a few years old. They both shot great but I think I prefer the Civil War musket conversion just because. Before you ask I tried to post pictures but the site wouldn't let me so you'll have to believe me that they are both great rifles.
