I think i know the answer but i'll ask for safety reasons. Can the 6.5/284 norma round be fired in the 6.5/284 win?

6.5-284 Norma is the factory codification of the 6.5-284 variation.

It depends on who reamed your chamber and when, but I when I started dabbling in the 284 based wildcats every reamer I ran across was built to the Norma spec. I suppose there might be some floating around that pre-date it, but they'd have to be rare. If in doubt, cast your chamber.
