Just wanted to pass this along. Was at Gander Mountain last night and they had a Ruger SR1911. I fell in love, but the other love of my life was with me so the gun is still there. With patience, cheaper elsewhere. My LGS called me last night, my SR1911 just came in $635. Will be picking up soon, then fondling it, then cleaning it, then shooting it, rinse and repeat over a long lifetime.
