870 cerakote ejector spring question

I'd rather not cut the rivet on the ejector spring on my 870 receiver but I'm worried it will lose its temper in the degas and baking phases- anybody else cerakoted an 870 that could attest to whether or not they removed theirs?

Never have removed. Never have had a problem. At 200 degrees, you shouldn't have a problem.
