9x18 mak + P ?

9X18 Makarov +P Pistol and Handgun Ammo

Is that saying it's ok to shoot through surplus Mak PM's, NOT intended for the newer PMM pistols; right?

i think +P is 10% over max loads. dont take my word for it but i read that somewhere.

I always thought of the 9x18 mak as a .380 +p

I don't know that I would use that in most Maks due to their blowback design. They were designed to be used within a specific pressure range. I'm sure it would be fine for a while, but could cause excess wear to the pistol.

I'm sure it would, but with increased wear on the pistol. You may be able to get a stiffer recoil spring if you would like to use these bullets on a regular basis.
