I'd like to share a sincere thank you to the INGO community! Earlier this year I ran a small contest to give away passes to an Appleseed Shoot.
First off, I'd like to express a direct thank you to Yellow House Jake who made that contest possible by donating the passes. YHJ, Thank you very much!
Second I'd like to thank those of you who participated. INGO alone accounted for nearly 1/4 of the donations I have received for the National MS Society BikeMS 150 "Best Dam Bike Ride" this year.
I think it's a shining example of how Gun Owners are regular people too. We're not all the creepy flannel shirt wearing rednecks the mainstream would have others believe we are. This kind of advocacy can only lead to better understanding and acceptance.
My ride is this coming weekend. August 6 - 7, 2011. I have exceeded my goal of $1000 raised for the MS Society in Wisconsin. And even raised $150 (so far) for the MS Society in Indiana (That ride is September 10 - 11, 2011).
So again. INGO Thank You!
