Advanced Personal Protection & Concealed Carry, Fort Wayne, 9/18

Prerequisite: NRA Personal Protection in the Home or similar training.

“Classroom" (8 am to 10 am)
Review of safe gun handling procedures
The defensive mindset
Methods of avoiding deadly force encounters
Legal, emotional, and social aspects
What to do after a shooting
Guns and gear
Methods of concealed carry

Range and live fire (11 am to no later than 5 pm)
Presentation (drawing), Position, and Movement
Moving and shooting
Cover and concealment
Engaging multiple targets
Engaging turning and swinging targets
Speed reloading
Clearing stoppages
Aimed fire, Flash sight picture, Point shooting
Instinctive (hip) shooting--extreme close quarters
Engaging multiple targets from an "automobile"
Tactical shotgun introduction (shotgun provided)

Cost: $95 (includes range fees)
Students must bring:
Handgun, Holster, Ammunition (200 rounds)
Extra magazines or speedloaders
Five rounds each 12 ga. buckshot and slugs
Eye protection and ear protection
Covering garment (long open shirt, vest, or jacket)
"Baseball" type cap, sunscreen, and drinking water

Discounts? I want to have groups of six or more before discussing any group discounting. The cost is already close to half the cost of some similar offerings around. I assure you, you will get more than your money's worth!

Oh, I know! That's why I'm taking the course! The last course I took was twice the price. Thankfully, my Dad offered to pay for me since we were doing it together before either of us started carrying.
