    :soapbox:

I was just quoted $158,807.22 to ship some product by a 'leader in global logistics'. :xmad:

I did :bash: them down to $91,277.78 by the end of the conversation, but the number is still in the neighborhood of $6/lb to ship, and still move than 3 times the value of the product....

186 targets that are roughly 20"x40", about 16,000lbs shipped air to the sand pit.
I can be flexible on pallet sizes.

I am trying to get the contractor to work with his employeer (US Army Core of Engineers) to piggyback the thing into one of their visits.

I am open to any suggestions!!:dunno:

By the way, you are officially off the hook for that last target. We found a home for it a week or so ago:rockwoot:

    Now back on topic.....:ingo:

Just to clarify, we are still in the quoting process on this. This is the third iteration since we first were involved last year.

Just some phone calls and trying different options to get better prices....

    Customer specifically asked for air.

20' container? Lol.....the product would fit in a space less that a 4' cube.
Just gave me a chuckle, lol.

Ya I know, but for 16,000 lbs of weight, it would be a reasonable mode of transportation, and fairly easy to secure. Besides, you might be able to find a freight broker that would be able to fill out the container in either cube or weight to lower your part of the total freight cost.
