I imagine it's got a weak spring, but is there any reason this would be beneficial? I'm not talking "tacti-cool", but in a competition gun?

almost 20 years ago, there was one competition stage video I saw that you had to grab an ammo can and walk up to the table. load the pistol and engage while ammo can in support hand. someone with a glock did it one handed with an air rack never letting go of the ammo can. it was a hoot. the video spread like wild fire next week in uspsa here in our region everyone was doing it.

Looks fun as hell, but I’d wager there’s been more than a few ND’s trying this. Also, train-how-you-fight and all that. I don’t think I’d ever want to instinctively attempt an air rack under stress, I’m not even close to being cool enough to pull that off reliably!
