Alliant 2400

Why does everyone seem to be out of this powder? One of the small guys said they could not get it anymore and a lot of the online suppliers are "out of stock".

It's been a popular, if old, powder for years. Certainly one of my favorites for medium to heavier loads in revolvers.

I love 2400, but it's not just that one particular powder....all the alliant stuff is harder to find....has been for a couple of years.

H110 and lil'gun are all over the place....they work very well too.

The last two times I was in the Portage Bass Pro they had 2400. Not a lot, less when I left

What's up with the Alliant powders. They have been difficult to find for quite a while. W-231 was impossible to find, now it seems common so why can't we find some Alliant stuff?

Maybe Alliant has some large commercial contract obligations and they don't have the capacity to produce as much for the reloading market?

All the Alliant powders most used for handgun reloading , including 2400, have been hard to find in my area since Sandy Hook.
