Very nice no4mk2. These are post wwii and yours looks in new condition. $350 was a steal of a deal. Hard to gen any surplus below $500 these days.

I collect enfield since the 1980’s, have several dozen. Oldest 1891 Lee Metford al to way to 1963 Indian 2a1 in 308.

Mostly focusing on early 1888-1912 models lately

My favorite though are my two .22lr trainers single shot accurate and no kick

I'm close to 65 years old and was into the Milsurp thing pretty heavily at one time (mostly because I' a poor) but never found an Enfield I wanted to buy. All the ones I encountgered were fairly rough compared to the other Milsurps I already had. AND, I liked Mausers a lot more back when they were reasonable so I didn't really make much effort in searching for Enfields. Until I fell in love with a K31.

This is a beautiful rifle and I am glad for you that you found it!
My wallet is creaking due to my debit card rolling around wondering what my maximum willing price to pay would be for that fine piece of history. I can assure you it's way more than $350.

    You scored well !
