Another new member

Another new guy from Indy. Been around only a minor number of guns, older models. 20ga, 22 rifle, scoped 222, and 22 9 shot revolver.

After shooting with my brother recently and firing his 9mm, his friends 45, and a 22 I finally took the plunge and started my own collection. Glock 17 4th gen. I plan on adding to the line up with a 22 semi rifle, possibly a 45 and a 22 semi pistol.

Currently just for home defense and target. Not much for hunting.

Can't wait to get caught up on all the new laws and learn from everyones experience and knowledge.

First gun fired was as a preteen-Sentinel Deluxe R-107 that my brother and I have shared interest in since Dad left it for us. Shot a number of AKs and SKS as well. So, any advice you can give me on what I should look for is appreciated. I would consider myself a newbie still since I hadn't shot in over 10 years, until this year.
